ourMENA

ourMENA is an innovation platform launched by the Kingdom of the Netherlands that enables young entrepreneurs, technologists, and change makers from across the MENA region to come together, collaborate, and solve critical challenges with homegrown technologies.

OurMENA does this by bringing together a unique community of diplomats, government officials, expert networks and technology partners in cities across the MENA region to identify problem areas and guide local creativity and ingenuity into high-impact solutions.

ourMENA is a platform created by the Netherlands to help young entrepreneurs, tech enthusiasts, and change-makers from the MENA region collaborate and use local technology to solve important problems. I was in charge of branding, social media marketing, and all aspects of organizing the hackathon event, including planning, promotion, and execution. This was my second time working on event branding and management, with my first experience being World Humanitarian Day with UNOCHA. I also had the opportunity to physically organize the first-ever diplohack events in Jordan and Lebanon.
