In 2019, I enrolled in a UI/UX bootcamp at Barcelona Code School. Our final project, after months of learning and experimentation, was to apply our newfound skills to create a high-fidelity mobile app. This involved conducting user research, interviews, and designing a solution for a topic we were passionate about or a problem we personally encountered. I chose to develop Gutverse, a mobile app aimed at assisting individuals with dietary restrictions on their journey to better health. Having faced my own dietary challenges for several years, it was a rewarding experience to conduct research and design a solution that I, and others like me, would genuinely find useful.
